Lean & Agile
3 Full Days
Agile teams are sometimes a scary perspective for testers. Small iterations, whole teams, automation, and a whole new set of ways to work; where do you fit as a tester on an Agile team? How does your role and responsibilities change? In this class, we will delve deeply into what it means to be a tester on such an agile team. We cover concrete practices and approaches such as behavior driven development, test automation, and the importance of test data as well as understand how all of this fits together with the test automation pyramid and the Agile testing quadrants.
In this hands-on class, you will learn also the fundamentals of automating tests effectively within an Agile team. You will code using popular testing frameworks and will code realistic scenarios. After attending this class you will be ready to hit the ground running with your team choosing the most valuable tests and then automating them.
After this 3-days intensive class you will get certified over both Testing and Automation "ICP-TST" and "ICP-ATA".
Agile testers, test engineers, or those aspiring to these roles with a passion for software quality and a desire to learn and practice agile test automation. Test Managers with an interest in learning or improving automation skills and developers with an interest in automation beyond unit testing will also benefit from this certification.
• Preferred to be certified over agile testing "ICP-TST", or have the equivalent testing knowledge.
• Familiarity with a programming language is mandatory.
